charming walks and stunning views near great malvern
after enjoying a hearty breakfast, I was thrilled to take the path beside the hotel that led to breathtaking views of Worcestershire Beacon, making each step a delightful exploration of the surrounding nature and charming hills, while the cozy bar area offered a perfect spot to unwind after my walks.

The breakfast experience was fantastic with a beautiful dining room and lovely staff. The salmon on the smoked salmon and eggs was a generous portion, showcasing food quality.
The mountain view could be obstructed from some angles in our room.

Our stay was cozy, with a stunning valley view from the breakfast room and a delightful evening spent in the snug bar lounge enjoying a lovely cocktail. We especially loved the peaceful garden and scenic walking paths available right outside the door. A slight downside was that the lighting could be a bit tricky to navigate at night, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. 😊

Dining on the terrace is a must, especially on sunny days—perfect for enjoying the views. The dog-friendly touch, with a bed and treats, showed a nice attention to detail for pet owners.
The decor in some rooms felt dated and could use a refresh, along with some cleanliness issues like dust and soap residue around fixtures. Breakfast options lacked replenishment late in the morning, leaving less variety to choose from, and portions felt slightly stingy given the price tag. A lack of depth in the dinner menu might not cater well for longer stays or a varied palate, with only a high-priced three-course offering being the standard.

Charming Location but Some Hiccups
A cozy retreat with stunning views, but my room was quite cramped and noisy due to a fan outside. The staff were attentive, but dinner options were limited. Breakfast, however, was delightful and hearty. For those staying, consider checking the menu beforehand for available options.

Our family had a wonderful time soaking in the breathtaking views and enjoying the superb dining experience. While the carpets showed some age, the overall comfort and cleanliness made up for it. Staff members’ friendliness enhanced our enjoyable stay, and we appreciated the warm atmosphere.

Stunning views and great food!
We spent a night here and it was amazing! The views are unbeatable, especially from the dining terrace. Had a 3-course dinner that was delish! My room was cozy, but a bit noisy with sounds from downstairs. The breakfast was a highlight, too! Staff were friendly, and it felt very homey overall.

Stunning views and decent food!
The location of this place is absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to those hillside views was the highlight of our stay. The room was comfy, but those flickering lights were a real bummer. Dinner was a treat, but the service was really slow. A little attention could go a long way here.

The hotel sits atop a steep hill, offering breathtaking views that truly set the scene upon arrival. The decor has a vintage charm that some may find comforting, with spacious rooms equipped with tea and coffee facilities, and a delightful touch of fresh milk available on the landing.
While the ambiance is appealing, the room cleanliness leaves much to be desired—dust on bedside lights and a showerhead clogged with limescale. The odd layout made watching the small TV a challenge, and some basic amenities, like fresh milk for tea or clear WiFi access instructions, were lacking. be cautious of hidden costs like gratuities that seemed non-negotiable. Though the breakfast offered a variety, the service there felt sluggish, dampening the experience.

Stunning hillside views even in the rain create a picturesque setting. The room, while large, featured a decent shower and solid amenities like tea-making facilities, a dressing table, and a comfortable bed.
The room decor felt dated and could use a refresh. Some amenities were lacking. for example, no coffee-to-go option was available for early departures and limited drawer space in certain rooms presents a packing challenge. while the dining options were beautifully presented, they leaned on the pricey side with limited selection, especially for fussy eaters. The bar had only one draught beer option, which is a bit underwhelming for variety seekers.
